Association Dates for your Diary

We’ve a range of exciting events to look forward to and many are open to both members and non-members. We are always happy to welcome new members.

2024

• Tuesday 10th September : Winter Talk 1
  A timely presentation by Master Beekeeper Lynfa Davies on winter management of bees.
  Llanfair Clydogau Village Hall starting at 7.00pm. Entry is £1 for Members and £2 for Non-Members.

• Sunday 15th September : Honey Extraction Day (members only)
  Honey extraction day at the Club Apiary, Plas Meurig, Abermeurig near Talsarn.

• Tuesday 8th October : Winter Talk 2
  Sam Cooper from Afon Mel Honey Farm will be giving a talk about Bees and Mead (hopefully some samples as well).
  Llanfair Clydogau Village Hall starting at 7.00pm. Entry is £1 for Members and £2 for Non-Members.

• October : Apple Fayre
  We will be attending the Apple Fayre at Watson & Pratts. The date has yet to be announced. Everyone welcome.

• Tuesday 12th November : Winter Talk 3
  Talking point to be confirmed.

• Sunday 15th December : Christmas Dinner (members only)
  An email will be coming out in September for reservations.

2025

• Tuesday 11th February: Beekeeping Beginners Course (members only)
  The Tuesday evening Beekeeping Beginners Course begins. Llanfair Clydogau Village hall 7.30pm.

• Tuesday 25th March: Annual General Meeting (members only)
  At Llanfair Clydogau Village Hall starting at 7.00pm. All members welcome to attend. Hopefully some of you will be willing to help with the committee.

• Saturday 12th April: Club Apiary – Plas Abermeurig (members only)
  Opens 2-4pm (weather permitting).
